A product marked with the "B" mark is safe to use, modern, natural environment friendly, and worthy of the customers' trust.
 The authority to issue the certificate, along with an identification number of the certification body, and to use the "B" mark, is granted to those certification units who have entered into an Agreement and signed a contract - licence with the TEST Q Polish Association for Technical Testing and Attestation
The Agreement with product certification bodies allows the TEST Q Polish Association for Technical Testing and Attestation to administer and promote the "B" mark. The Association has handed the oversight of the certification process to the Council of certitication bodies for the "B" collective guarantee trade mark. The Council includes all bodies who have signed a contract - licence with the Association.
The principles of the Council's work are stipulated in the Council's Regulation. Its works are coordinated by the Council's Presidium. One of the elements of the Council is the Committee for the "B" Collective Guarantee Trade Mark, whose principles of operation are stipulated in its Regulation, and a Committee of Appeals.
The principles of certification for the "B" Collective Guarantee Trade Mark are provided for in the Program of certification for the "B" collective guarantee trade mark that has been elaborated by the Committee for the "B" Collective Guarantee Trade Mark and approved in the Council's meeting.
Assessment of product conformity under the agreement is conducted in accordance with the model consisting of the following basic elements:
1) product testing,
2) assessment of the supplier's management system,
3) oversight in the period of validity of the certificate, including periodic inspections of the supplier quality system and testing of products picked at the supplier's site or in the market.
The condition for certification is to meet safety requirements stipulated in domestic and international standards, and in technical criteria.
The tests, whose results are used in the certification process, are performed by independent research laboratories whose competences have been recognized by the certification bodies.
Certification bodies maintain oversight of the certificates they have issued by:
1) inspecting the organization and the technical conditions,
2) monitoring the way that certificates are used by the suppliers,
3) testing of samples picked at the supplier's site or in the market.
Certificates and the licence to use the trade mark are issued for the period of five years.
