Bronisław Borski, President of the Management Board of Jastrzębska Spółka Kolejowa (JSK)

Jastrzębska Spółka Kolejowa sp. z o.o. was established on 1 April 1998 on the basis of the railway equipment of Jastrzębsta Spółka Węglowa S.A. (JSW S.A.), which was brought into the JSK as an initial share. Consequently the JSW S.A. holds 100% of JSK's shares.

The purpose of establishing the Company was to transfer to it all tasks related to the management and maintenance of the railway infrastructure.

As a Railway Management, the JSK obtained a security certificate which allows it to conduct activities in the area of providing access to railroad lines, conducting maintenance of railway infrastructure, conducting construction and maintenance of railroad track systems and railway facilities, providing design services and expert assessments, removing effects of mining damages, and conducting training activities.

JSK is the first Railway Management in Poland that has the ISO 9001:2000 quality management certificate for the service of providing access to railroad lines.

The company owns over 145 kilometers of station and line tracks and is the owner of the railway stations of Borynia, Pniówek, Zofiówka, Krupiński, and Pawłowice Górnicze.

JSK has its own Examination Committee, established by the Director of the Regional Division of the Bureau of Railway Transportation. n
